Questions before you download.
Plain-English answers about offline use, reminders, third-party subscriptions, privacy, Pro and CSV export.
Does Cheks work offline?
Yes. Cheks is designed as a local-first, offline-first utility. Your core item data is stored on your device.
How do reminders work?
Cheks uses local notifications. Free users can set one reminder per item using 30, 14 or 7 days before an expiry or renewal date. Pro unlocks more reminder flexibility.
What does Pro unlock?
Pro unlocks unlimited active items, multiple reminders per item, full reminder flexibility and CSV export for a one-time $12.99 AUD unlock.
Is Cheks a CRM or job management system?
No. Cheks is deliberately narrow. It tracks expiry-driven admin; it does not manage customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, teams or sales pipelines.
What happens if I change phone?
At launch, Cheks is local-first. CSV export can help preserve records where available. Keep your own backup of important records.
Can I use it for software subscriptions and service renewals?
Yes. Cheks can track third-party subscriptions and services such as Xero, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe, Canva, domain names, web hosting and professional memberships.
Is Cheks itself a subscription?
No. Cheks is free to download and Pro is a $12.99 AUD one-time unlock. Subscription tracking is for third-party subscriptions and services.
Can I use it for BAS or GST dates?
Yes. Cheks can be used for business dates such as BAS/GST reminders, along with licences, insurance, registrations, certifications, tickets, subscriptions and services.
